Ericsson announces Tech Talk service Provider-Software Defined Networking

Service provider networks are experiencing an architectural evolution so that they become more dynamic and programmable in nature. Software Defined Networking (SDN) is one of the key components of this evolution and Ericsson's vision for Service Provider Software Defined Networking (SP-SDN) sets the direction towards a flexible network ready for the Networked Society.

In this video, Ignacio Más, one of Ericsson's Experts working in the Chief Technology Officer office, explains the key architectural concepts behind SP-SDN and clarifies in simple terms the different aspects of the SP-SDN architectural framework. Ignacio also highlights the challenges that current IP networks face in order to accommodate the demands of users and enterprises in the Networked Society as well as the way SP-SDN addresses those challenges.
