Monday, Feb 02, 2009

BroVis Wireless Networks, a global developer and manufacturer of Next Generation Broadband Wireless Access Systems announced today the launch of BroVis Advanced Access Manager (BAAM) solution, industry's first advanced access manager aimed at Large Service Providers and Telcos, Hospitality Providers, Enterprises and Large Campus Operators and Multi-service WiFi/WiMAX Network Providers.

BAAM offers fully integrated centralized controller features like RF Management, User Access Control, Bandwidth Management, Network Management via NMS, Subscriber Management and Advanced Security features in a modular fashion. BAAM offers capabilities to centrally monitor and manage IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n based wireless systems. BAAM not only offers centralized management of WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n) systems but also latest technologies such as WiMAX and evolving technologies such as LTE.

Fully integrated BAAM is aimed at providing unified access and controller capabilities. BAAM also aims at controlling both thin and fat access points. BAAM integrates with Brovis' indoor wireless systems like the AS500 series and indoor mesh routers like the AS750 series. BAAM also integrates with Brovis' classical outdoor product series like the AC100, AS1000 and AS1200. Brovis' 802.11n MIMO based products like the AC150 and AS1500 series can also be managed by BAAM. BroVis' strategy of WiMAX/WiFi coexistence to provide seamless high-speed broadband experience is complemented by BAAM.

'Our innovative, fully integrated and cost effective BAAM will allow complete monitoring and controlling of the network and will provide end-end management capabilities including the user group in a network' says Muthu S Logan, Founder and CEO of Brovis Wireless Networks.

BroVis' offerings provide Enterprises, Large Campuses, Multiservice Operators and WISPs cost-effective and fully integrated solution that is unified for WiFi, WiMAX and LTE.
