Telecom company selects IdentiPHI for call center biometrics

"One of the world’s largest telecommunicationscompanies has tapped IdentiPHI, a developer of biometric products, to supplythem with biometric authentication for their call centers in Latin America. The product specified is IdentiPHI’s SAFsolution 5Enterprise Edition.

The system is designed to require authentication for a customer service representative to access different applications to better protect customer data. The SAF soltuion software will work in conjunction with the already implemented Citrix XenApp Platinum, software for publishing key support programs and managing access, and fingerprint readers from UPEK.
